Quality Status:
KAA is certified in ISO 9001:2000 and currently pursuing re-certification to ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System. The process is expected to be back on track by 4rd Quarter of the current financial year-June 2012.
Five Step Road Map to ISO 9001: 2008 Re-certification
1. Planning
Setting of the objectives and scope of the QMS overall implementation plan, identify and provide resources required including certification process, facilitating team, tentative target dates.
2. GAP Analysis to assess current situation
This is a very critical stage to identify specific areas requiring work and prioritizing the tasks required to improve and set SMART programs with clear time lines.
3. Training
This involves capacity building for gaining necessary skills and know-how to implement, manage and run a QMS.
4. System Development and Implementation
This involves the execution of all projects identified in GAP analysis and set documented managing structure to run, maintain a continuous improvement activities organizational wide.
5. Certification
Offsite documentation review, onsite stage 1 and stage 2 audits by certifying body to be followed by maintenance programme for QMS through management reviews, internal audits and surveillance audits.
